6-0 Today w/ Posted plays Dbacks/Cubs thoughts

Anytime you see a situation with 2 solid pitchers you have to look at the offenses and who has the "potential" to make a difference. AZ's club has made it thus far, in my opinion on LUCK. When you look at the pitching staff, one and only one pitcher worries you, WEBB. However, Zambrano is a formidable force and more importantly has a offensive lineup that has the potential to support a subpar effort. I don't think that AZ's offense can make up for a subpar effort by WEBB.

I see this being a low scoring game. In this case, you have to go with the team with the better offensive lineup.

Zambrano has begun to heat up in his last 4 starts giving up a total of 6 runs, 2 of those starts coming against a better than avg REDS lineup.

Webb has been solid as well, but against SF and LAD...2 piss poor hitting lineups.

This is true, but.. the Cubs haven't been exactly on fire lately.. 2-4 their last 6.. only scoring more than 4 runs 1 time. So they definatelly aren't putting up monster numbers.. but Zambrano has been hot too.. the under looks too easy.. prolly goes over.
