The reason he didn't run was that the pitcher balked 3 times and it was never called by the home plate ump who was sleeping through the game..
If Carlos Ruiz could steal a bag that easy. Bourne could do it walking.

Yesterday was the day the Phillies should have won! I'm from the area, this team much like the Eagles ride emotion to the point where it almost makes them invinsible. The loss yeaterday just set them up to be the true losers that they are, again much like the Eagles, the other factor that plays here is the Coach is to quote "a Moron" they will win 1 game in Colo. and lose the series 3-1. But since I swore off of betting the losers anymore, I'll just take the over today! And yes I am bitter because the bastards cost me a weeks winnings in Football. I hate this small box!

Starting pitching, for one, may have been the primary reason and secondly the fact that the Rocks are hot and the Phillies are not. Kind of late to bring this up now but I really think those who wagered on the Phillies today did so strictly on the 'due' factor and also that they were sold on the fact that there was no way Philadelphia would lose both games at home. I hope you read these reasons for not taking the Phillies because everyone of them applies as these losers are down now 10-5 going into the 8th but its not over, well actually I hit the over so I got a little back, I just nned Col.to finish it out and tack on some more with my parlay!
