Found some answers here.

My guess is that most of the top consensus picks in MLB were high favorites so here is the record on the top consensus pick -

You finished the 2007 regular season with a 271-248 record, but just 83-92 with Best Bets.

92-83 with most like 98% dogs sounds pretty good :103631605

You opened the 2007 playoffs with a 1-1 split on Wednesday, misfiring on your Best Bet on the Phillies (73%), while nailing the Red Sox (70%).

You finished the 2007 regular season with a 271-248 record, but just 83-92 with Best Bets.

Your record for the 2006 postseason was 10-11, including 6-5 with Best Bets. That followed a dismal regular-season campaign in which you went 288-328 overall, with a 105-99 mark with Best Bets.

In 2005, you went 7-9 in the playoffs, including 4-6 with Top Plays. And in the regular season, you were 238-250, including 81-90 with Best Bets.

In 2004, you enjoyed an incredible postseason, going 21-10 overall, including 11-7 with Top Plays. And the '04 regular season was strong, too, as you went 254-181 overall, including 101-57 with Top Plays.

Kruser I've seen the site before, but have not used it. The problem is it does not show the amount of volume on a game.

Yes, consensus means very little and is often misleading. It's the money, not the amount of bets placed.

Consensus doesn't move lines, money does.
