not because it's a good play. but because if they lose, you want ot get something out of it?

I'm a die hard (or somewhat hard) yankee fan and I took Clev to win the series and also to win 3-0 or 3-1.

The way i figure, if I lose the cash, who gives a shit. It's just a few bucks and the Yanks advance, which is way more important.

But if the Yankes fuck me, well , with the odds I got, at least I have some benji's to console myself with.
(And , yes, I am still rooting 100% for the Yanks.)

of course, if you can't manage that you shouldn't be betting at all.

not anymore

The last time I bet on or against the Yankees was Clemens' 300th win. I just decided it was easier mentally if I never have to make decisions on the Yanks. They are the one team I love watching without any money on the line.

It's rather, if you bet against your team, it's probably because the game is on TV, which would be an action play. If that's the case, you shouldn't be betting at all.

I am a fan of all kinds of boxers and teams. Saying that betting against your favorites makes you "not a fan of them" is wrong. I am a sportsfan 2nd a gambler first but that don't mean I don't have favorite teams. What it does mean is that $$$$$ comes first.

I bet against the Steelers last week. I had Arizona ml and the points. I never bet with my heart.

Someone I have the utmost repsect for does this. I don't personally agree with it though unless you think it is a good play.

My team doesn't pay my bills and when they lose, that player still gets paid.

So, I bet on what is the best value. I prefer not to go against them, but if there is a winner out there you take it.

This makes no sense. I am not an action player, how I cap the games has no barring on the outcome, anything after kick off/tip off/first pitch is beyond my control.
