Yanks coming off a blow-out loss on the road and favoured against a stud like Carmona...hmmm?

Sounds like the books figure people will think "the Yankees can't lose 2 in a row". Few gave the Indians any respect when they are a better team then NY. The Yankees ace got exposed while the Indians' ace played far from flawless but stll good enough to win. Carmona is almost just as good as CC, the Indians take a 2-0 lead with ease tonight.

there was a great article about the juice you always pay for the the yankees on the rx yesterday, its called the "yankee tax". A lot of first time bettors and office pool type money comes into vegas and people just hear the name yankees and assume they are going to win.

the early line was the yanks were going to be favored in every game this series because of this and the way the yanks dominated the indians this year. The only difference is ,one of those streaks the yanks beat the the tribe was at the tribes worst slump of the season.

This team has been playing fantastic type baseball to end up the year and isn't on a slump like when they faced the yankees last time

Last night was with ease. The Yankees are an overpaid, overrated team. The Indians are a true baseball team that put a team together with trades and through their farm league. You can't compare trying to buy a world series to a real team. In the end the real team will win.

its the same thing with any of these elite teams.. what about the bo sox tax? when are they gonna be a big dog? angels? i mean any of these superior al teams will always be a favorite.. whether home or road.. look at the bo sox? you gotta pay 52 juice for them to beat the angels? if that isn't a "tax" then i don't know what is. and if the angels play any team other than the yanks or bosox or team without their ace they will be -200 every game.. even on the road. jus how baseball is.. translate that juice into football or somethin -200 is roughly a 4-5 pt spot in football, that isn't very big, but that's how the baseball system looks. look at the other side. you don't like this "tax?" then bet on the nats or the pirates every game.. caz they will hardly ever be a favorite? maybe when snell is on the mound at home against a rookies first appearance. take a look at another sport.. when are the cowboys, patrtios, or colts will be dogs.. except when they play each other? wheres the new england patriots "tax" that when newbies bet they will always lay the chalk on this franchise? i kno they are winning now and 4-0 ats too but it doesn't last forever.. it's the exact same thing. i mean last time i looked if you played yanks on the r/l every game layin the "yankee tax" you would be up money at the end of the season.. the 25 games they are above .500 mosto f those games won by 2+.. i jus think that whoever made that is stupid if you think about it in every sport.. like hockey.. the elite hockey teams are gonna be these 200 and 300 favorites game in and game out. jus how sports works.. if you dont like it.. bet the dog every time

Anyone like the Under?
Petite may help to shutdown the Indians lefties, and Carmona is Carmona. The total also may be inflated due to yesterdays runs.

this guy is such a homer it is silly he can't even see past his own nose IMO yanks win today they don't lose again in this series but I don't think they win today................anyway if they lose the SOX will pound this team like a 2 dollar whore but anyway good luck

Actually I'm not a homer at all. Just because they are my favorite team means I can't think they are going to win? Get a fucking life. Maybe I think they are going to win because they are the better team. Go figure, someone use logic. Why would the sox pound them? Granted the Sox are a better team then NY but it does not mean they will get pounded. There is alot of talent on the Indians team that does not get recognized by idiots like you that follow that line of thinking that Cleveland teams are not good. I'll tell you what, the Cavs are going nowhere but up, the Indians are not going to sink like the Tigers or White Sox did and the Browns are getting a real team together. So please, all of you that don't know shit about sports, keep letting these teams play as dogs and I'll keep cashing in.

AJP has had a chip on his shoulder since he arrived at the Rx.

Yankees are FAR AND AWAY the highest juiced team in professional sports.

BTW, I am taking Cleveland, AGAIN.

You say "hmmm" as if you think it's a trap. I thought it was common knowledge the Yanks would be favored in every game in this series. The "hmmm" factor comes in for me in regards to the fact that the Yanks are such small favorites in a game where everyone and their mother is saying "Yanks won't go down 2-0." The Indians proved they were a better team during the season IMO, and especially when playing at home. The Yanks ended up proving that when they're playing well, they can beat just about anybody. But they didn't look like they were playing well last night.
