Ordered some horse racing books other day and the author said he likes to read the RX

Called Barry Meadow the other day and ordered some back issues of his publication "Meadow's Racing Monthly". The guy is an excellent horse racing author. I have a few of his books and they are among my gambling favorites.

We made a little small talk and when I mentioned the Rx he said quickly that he reads it all the time and enjoys the site.

Guy is as sharp as they come.

Thought this was pretty interesting.

i agree, however he may become dumber for it the last week or so with everything that's been going on. thank god its the weekend and guys will concentrate on making money, congrats on the mod job and i'm sure you'll have a good run. hope you been taking notes the last week or two as there certainly has been a lot to learn.

He said only good things about the Rx. We never discussed anything else.

I completly agree about moving on and getting back to what is important and that is beating this game of betting.

Nah, just thought it funny that you'd have a conversation with someone that is an apparent lurker. I guess it shows how small the world can be at times, especially the fraternity of gamblers.

I don't think Barry puts out his monthly newsletter anymore, but years ago I used to subscribe. I thought it was a great newsletter, head and shoulders above Phillips Racing Newsletter.

Barry has some excellent work out there.

Yeah, he is done writing the newsletter but the info in their is excellent.

One funny thing most of these newsletter are around 2000 and the talk of the internet and betting on it are just starting to take shape.

Still a GREAT newsletter.
