With all of the divisional series being 2-0 now, the smart thing to do would be to play on the team that is up 2-0 for the next 3 games, or until they win. Nearly all of the time when a team is up 2-0, they win the series. Of course there are stronger and weaker plays of this sort, going back on past statistics of this situation.

All plays will be at Matchbook. Here we go:

2* Arizona Diamondbacks +185 (Game 1)

2* Colorado Rockies -138 (Game 1)

I will post the other plays for tomorrow later.

Working like a charm, let's wrap the rest up on Monday.

1* Cleveland Indians +177

2* Boston Red Sox -104

The reason I am only playing 1 unit on the Indians is I think that if ANY team could come back from down 2-0 in the playoffs, it would be the Yankees. Overall though, just playing things safe.

10/06/07: (2-0, +4 units)

2* Cleveland Indians +185 (Greek)

Just using the Greek tonight because there is no good offers at Matchbook right now (best is around +150) and I want to get the bet in tonight. I think we have a very good shot tomorrow with this one, best of luck to everyone following!

Intrinzik don't you mean Colorado doesn't lose the next four in a row as the current series are a best of seven?

Biggest problem with this is if you end up losing the first two... you're talking about losing 2.66 units if you lose today, then assuming you're trying to still win 2 units overall, you're talking about having to bet Beckett and the Sox at -180, 8.39 units risk.

Then in game 6, you're talking about the Sox probably being a -180 favorite again back in Beantown, meaning you've gotta risk 18.7 units to win your 2.

Not saying that you won't win, but just looking at it like this, if you're wrong, you're wagering some 29 units to win 2.

I would have just wagered on Red Sox -1.5, no problem. That would cut the juice down quite a bit.

Playoffs: (9-0, +16 units)

Great post season this year! Just basically used common sense and it paid off big time! See you all next year for another great season of baseball! hola
