Been reading a few message boards elsewhere and a topic that pops up every now and then is that the RX pays a poster or posters to list their action. Can and/or would anyone care to share some light on this subject? TIA.

Good luck.

If you asked 1000 different posters about this, youd get at least 2000 different answers.

More bs posted at these forums than a lil' bit.

even if they do, the rx gets nothing from being truthful here. but if i were to pay a poster, maybe only one or two people would know, so everyone else would have plausable deniability.....

that's my guess

Who gives a shit?

Every forum has paid posters.

You really think certain posters like WildBill stopped posting entirely here for no reason?

Or another certain poster across the street who makes 20 threads a day and has over 20,000 posts but isn't a moderator?

No.

If I take the money I've received from the Rx and divide that by my number of posts I've received almost 2 cents per post.

Good luck.

Most forums offer me money to NOT post.

Something about "a waste of thread space."

I addressed this same question last month. The following posters get paid that I know of:

Moderators:

Sportsavant
TTinCO
RobFunk
Dante
OldManTed
Iceman
WVU
wilheim
Jake Thompson (fantasy Football)

Editorial Staff:
Charlie Maxwell
Various writers

Paid staff

Ricka General Manager
Xpanda Rx Coordinations Director
Tech Support People (in Costa Rica)
Front office people including bookeeper (In Canada)

There may be more paid staff but I have no idea who or where they are.

So Dante would indeed be considered an employee of TheRX in that case?

Is this like a real job? I mean if you are moving on can you have them call Wil from the Rx as a reference?

Would love to hear that call

As far as the mods go they are independent contractors and responsible for paying their own Federal, state and local income taxes where ever they live. Sure you can use the experience learned working at The Rx.com on a resume.
