what happens if there is a snow out for one of the world series games and it can't be re-scheduled right away in the same venue?

if the world series goes seven games the last game will be played on Nov. 1st.

end of oct/early nov it is possible but not likely to get snow in boston or cleveland...and in colorado the odds are probably pretty good.

i was wondering if anybody knows if MLB has a contingency plan in place for this?

If you buy game 7 tickets and it only goes 6 games then you lose your money. I hope that answers your question.

I do not think thats correct. You get your money back minus ticketmaster fees. In the case that you are a season ticket holder they normally credit your account money (I know thats what the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles do)

you get your money back if you buy them from the team or ticket master. If you get them from Joe Scalper then you Shit out of luck and he gets his money back!!

You get your money back for any un-paid games. For WS they will play them in the city intended if it takes to December IMHO. They will play until somebody gets to 4!

it is just like rain delays, they keep pushing back the games until they can be played. no double headers, they may do away with the day off for travel but I forget.

The worst-case sitution solution is typically to play the game in the nearest playable city in the same division of the home team. Plans like this were in the works in the '80s before Wrigley Field had lights (had the Cubs made the World Series, games might have been played in St. Louis) and were almost implemented in 1989 in the wake of the Bay Area earthquake (I want to say Seattle was the location discussed then).
