Cleveland/Boston Series Bet

i think the red sox have good value at -175 believe it or not. i'm not saying its going to be easy but i already love them to win the world series so why wouldn't i take them for a series wager. the way i see it is as long as they win one game vs either carmona or sabathia, they have it wrapped. westbrook and byrd are garbage imo so that should equal 2 automatic wins. i remember hearing a few of the sox mention that the season would equate to nothing if a WS is not won. a lot of the time this kind of talk coming from an athlete means nothing but i'm just using it as extra incentive.

Sox win the series 3-1 imo

anyone else taking this bet?

What would give you the idea that they will win easily with Westbrook or Byrd on the mound? Both teams will have their 3rd and 4th pitchers in there, not just the Indians. Bullpens match up pretty well, starting pitching has to go to the Tribe. No team in baseball has two aces like Sabathia and Carmona. The Sox have more power but the Indians' bats came to life against the Yanks and I don't see them slowing down now. They are complete 1-9. I'd be shocked if this series goes any less than 6. I really have a gut feeling that this is the Indians year. This is the world series, Arizona nor Colorado can compete with either team.

boston will destroy either coloro or arizona. i'm just posting my thoughts. i may not be right but i'm going with my gut and taking boston. we'll see what happens
