I'm interested in participating in some type of capping challenge against you. The stakes are simple: loser never posts on this forum again (with the exceptions being contests, anything regarding the Bash/meeting up with fellow posters, and requests to contact another poster or moderator off the forum, i.e. via email).

If you're interested, we can draw up the rules and regulations ASAP. The amount of plays are unimportant to me; whatever works for you is fine.

I do ask that if the answer is no, however, that you refrain from going on some rant about me, the proposed challenge, or A-Rod. A simple yes or no would be great. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and for the record, I'm sure you're a swell guy in person, and I'd love to meet up and grab a beer with you the next time I'm in Boston.

Nothing personal against A-rod, but his post-season
numbers the last 3 post-seasons speak for themselves.

What should be his batting average, is his strike-out average.

His K-average for the last 3 post-seasons is .341.

Meaning, that for every 10 at bats, he struck out 3.4 times.

Gay-rod is like the plague - everywhere he goes the team gets worse. As soon as he leaves a team they get better. He puts up big numbers in spots that don't matter. He chokes in the spots that really matter. His teammates don't like him - he doesn't make them better. No one rallies around Gay-rod - he just doesn't supply that kind of vibe. HE HAS NEVER LEAD A TEAM TO ANY KIND OF SUCCESS - HE IS A CLASSIC ME-FIRST GUY.

If you feel bad for a guy making 25 million a year playing baseball then I feel bad for you.

read some where that the Cubs will make a serious bid for A-Rod when the new owner gains control. Heard it was a billionaire(but not Cuban) who is tight with Selig and that the bid for A-Rod would include points in the team. Funny how he would fit right in with Cubs...lots of solo home run hitters over there who pile up stats in blow-ups and K in close games and playoffs. LOL.
