Anyone interested in getting in a $20 fantasy bball league? I figure a small wager but nothing crazy would make it more interesting. I started a league on yahoo so if your interested let me know and I will give you the info to get in. First come first serve. I think we should all pay before the draft and have a trusted poster if there is one hold on to the money. I mean I really dont think someone would run with everyones $20 but I guess you never know. It is a head to head league and the draft is Thu Oct 18 9:30pm CDT, which can be changed but the sooner the better because the time slots are not very good this late notice....

I have played in a couple basketball leagues, I didnt think I would like it too much but it actually is pretty fun. I guess it just makes NBA a little more interesting for me because I dont like to bet on it and I prefer to watch ncaa hoops. Here is the info to get in. First come first serve and only sign up if you agree to the $20 entry fee. We can work out payouts after. Im down for winner take all or we can pay first and 2nd place. We can have a vote once we have a full league set up.

seems like people would like to raise the stakes a little bit which I have no problem with that... How does $50 sound?

I can't ever turn down a $20 fantasy league. I'm in.

I won't send money to anyone I don't trust though and I am still being slowpaid from a March Madness tourney I won and it's been a pain in the ass for me.

I can hold the cash if you guys want or if not, maybe another moderator here can do the deed. Either way, I'm in.

I got in a baseball league here this year and Fat Tony held on to the money and he is a guy you can trust. I was going to have everyone send him the money... also people have expressed interest in raising the stakes a little bit would you be down for $50?

I'm the one holding the money for this and I paid WC Bias this week from the RX Baseball league if it matters.

Is everyone besides Whale ok to draft Tue oct 23 at 9pm central? Want to make sure everyone can make it because draft times are extremely limited right now. Also we will need to get 1 more player since whale cant make the draft on tuesday

You could do that if you feel safe sending cash. I think most people are mailing a check to Fat Tony or paying him thru paypal.... Do you want to get in for sure? I will try and get a hold of wannabewhale to see if hes going to get out of the league for sure so that we can find a replacement. Im pretty sure he cant make the tuesday night draft...
