I really started hating him when he said last year after the Giants fired Defensive Coordinator Tim Lewis (who did an awful job and deserved the ax) that if Lewis was white he wouldnt have been fired

the dude is a "tokin" the blacks love him !! it's all about the network making $$$$ !! the guy does have his own style, kinda like that ass hole "jim rome" some people just sell. but then again i am old school and i loved howard cosell. he's just another sports guy talking shit !! and looks fun-e on t.v.///////// but on my t.v. when they are on.. i just turn down the sound !! :lolBIG:
True story. A few weeks back a guy that I work with is a casual sports fan. Soo we decided to listen to ESPN Radio during the afternoon. The Mike Tirico Show was on and had come to a conclusion at 2 cst.....next up was Screamin A Smiff......my buddy said to me...Who is this guy. I proceeded to tell him who it was. No kidding, It took him no longer than 2 more minutes to turn the station. That is how damn annoying this guy is. Even the casual fan cant stand him. My buddy couldnt stand it, I couldnt stand it....How the hell does ESPN stand it? Its beyond me.
ESPN is pushing the hip-hop thing way toooo far. Between S.A. Smith, Jim Rome, and Stewart Scott, the show wants to promote an air of hipness that most people just looking for sports information could care little about.
I think it is really the fault of the producers behind the scene. They tell the anchors and personalities to act a certain way and play it to the max.
Personally I would like to take Rome, Smith and Scott and beat the living crap out of all three of them with a spiked baseball bat.
But I am not a same person at times.

Obviously the network doesn't share the opinon of you guys. I can't have the sound on when Vitale is on, and have neve seen a single episode of American Idol, or any reality shows, but I accept that my views aren't widely shared and move on.
To me, the most astonishing thing of all is how anybody can stomach Skip Clueless...
