There is no reason they couldnt schedule a game on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and the rest on Sundays.

This was be great, espically this time of the year. The schedule makers are creative enough to do this, even if it was 4 nites a week. It would still only be a handful of teams and you would still have a decent slate of games on Sunday to choose from.

If CFB can do it than the NFL should give it a try.

Take Cincinatti vs Kansas City on Sunday, wouldnt that be great if that was on tonite. Instead it will get lost in the shuffle on Sunday but I guarantee you it would outdraw tonites playoff baseball games.

I agree.

5 weeks into the season, use teams coming off of bye weeks to play each other mid week.

Right on. This is stupid in the year 2007 that we have to watch/bet Hawaii/SJSU to get our fill tonite.

The market is wide open for this.

You cant do it because of injuries!

And they have most of the game on Sunday because that is the day that most people are at home. Most people might work during the week.

Who needs the NFL during the week. In 21 days, we have the NBA!!!!!

Yeah like the NFL is really in need of having to change things. There doing pretty well as it is now. Besides the NFL is not going to book a Friday night game since it may hurt the local high school games.

At the end of the season the NFL has games on Thursday, Sat, Sun, and Monday anyway.

On the flip slide people like having a full plate of games to watch and bet on Sunday and its not fair to have a team play on Tuesday then on 5 days rest play on Sunday.

Botton line the world doesn't resolve around gambling and the NCAA has 100 plus teams they can throw out mid week where as the NFL doesn't.

Also alternate thier starting times so all the games don't start at the same time like ncaa.

Never got the NFL ticket after having it as your head spins and get hand cramps jockeying the remote.

Nascar needs to divide into a Southern and a Northern Div.

Race 2 races a weekend.

At the end of the season take the top 5 from each div and have a 3 race, race off.

There are many many tracks nation wide that were built for nascar , but can not get a race there.

playersonly and 5star are correct. no chance of it happening because the number of injuries and stars sitting out games would be ridiculous. as it stands now, there are tons of starters now who basically miss practice all week to try and work closely with trainers to ensure that they can play on sunday. those that have played know how your body feels like absolute hell and damn near crippled when you wake up the morning after a game. and thats at the college level. nfl would be ten times worse.

Your the 2nd guy that has said something similar. Not sure where you are getting that. I am actually posting less on average since being a mod. I started 3 threads yesterday and I think 4 today.

Not going to change one bit. Almost feel like I need to take my posting up a notch but really haven't.

I am just trying to get to 10,000 posts this month and I have been here for over 7 years. I dont think that I can make it to 10,000 by that time, but I can make it by Christmas for sure

I hear ya. I only average 10.5 posts a day or so. Been right around there forever.

I think JMAN averaged over 40 posts a day.

NFL and NFLPA won't go with that...tho, it would be nice from a bettor's/fan's point of view.

But, yeh, college hoops is right around the corner and you have the college gridiron in Oct. and Nov. Isn't that enough?:lolBIG:I guess not for some.

If I had my wish it would be 7 days a week to tell you the truth. Nothing beats the NFL in my eyes from a fan standpoint for me.

These college games suck, pros play with so much more intensity and urgency.
