Earlier tonight, I considered for a moment taking the Under in Detroit 5.5 -120 and Over 5.0 -135 in Detroit, for a middle/ side opportunity. I figured if the final score lands on 5 in this game 28% of the time, I make money. I know next to nothing about hockey, but I know that 5 is the most common # for a total. Anyhow, I still felt I needed better odds than this to pull the trigger, so I held off. Does anyone have data showing just how often an NHL game lands on 5? Thanks a lot.
