I've had several problems depositing with 5dimes in the past and I have mentioned them here. Now I am having problems depositing with BookMaker. You would think these companies would want to make the process as simple as possible to deposit with them so they can get your money.

When I attempt to deposit with BookMaker the first transaction went through. The second transaction used a different processor name and was denied. So I had to call my bank to get a hold taken off my account. They take the hold off and I try to deposit again with the same result, a hold is put on my account.

I realize I can deposit through MoneyGram and that's probably how I will do it exclusively from now. But some books (The Greek) only allow $500 a day. Which reputable books allow more per day?

Thegreek will allow at least 2500 a day via MG or Debit card, 1500 via WU

How do you use your Debit Card? I didn't even see the option for MG either but I called them and got that information. I sure wish they would post that on the deposit page of their web site.

QL..when you call and they tell you a hold is on your account do they know you are trying to deposit for gaming transactions?? if so what did they tell you when you called in to get it taken off?? cant they report you for that to the DOJ if they wanted to, expecially since you keep trying to do it ?? just curious what they tell you

I honestly have found 5Dimes to be the easiest..of course when using WU/MG it depends on the processor more so that the book. Many books may use the same processor so the experience with one would be the same with any who use the same processor.

Greek/BJ are solid, ThePig has been very easy to deal with too for me. JustBet was a pain to deal with for me, but others have had good things to say, so your experience may vary. Those would be the most solid books in my opinion.

SOMEONE JUST TELL ME ONCE. WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT DEPOSITING ANYWHERE ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF. Are you a mentally challenged person that doesn't understand basic financial information. EVERY BOOK ACCEPTS EITHER MG or Western Union!!! If they don't why are you playing there?? It's like some people are just out of the loop and don't realize that Neteller and ACH and CC's for the most part are gone. Get over it read the deposit section of a potential book. How can people be this dumb!!!!???? No one specific to this thread am I addressing but in GENERAL.

burtrapp, I was referring to trying to use the debit card for BookMaker. It seems it's the fault of my bank, not the book itself. I prefer to use debit card since it's easier than MG.

Now that I realize my bank has problems with specific companies that BookMaker uses I will just use MG. Speaking of MG, I had problems getting the right information from 5dimes. It seems that their brilliant customer service didn't give me the right info. You are right though, MG is relatively easy unless the book doesn't give you the right info.

Dante, all the bank asks is "did you try to make a withdrawal through XXXXX company?" I tell them yes and they don't know why it causes my account to be flagged. Then they say they remove the hold and it gets another hold put on it when BookMaker uses that company. It seems that BookMaker uses different companies to process their transactions. One worked with my bank, the other causes a hold to be put on my account.

Looks like it's MG for me for BookMaker. If they just used the same company I wouldn't have any problems.

MG is a type of Express Money Transfer which is listed on their web site.
The instructions tell you to call because where you need to send may be different today than a month ago.

Usually they are putting a hold on the transaction to protect you the user against fraud, which is a common bank practice when one is attempting an online transaction. The hold usually has nothing to do with whether you are attempting a deposit for gaming transaction. Once the user calls their card issuing institution and they verify it is you attempting the transaction they remove the hold and you are able to submit the transaction successfully.
This has happened to me several times but has always been resolved with a successful transaction. However it is obviously time consuming.

Thanks. I saw that but didn't know if it used MG. I called and was able to get their info.

If you plan things in advance by a couple of days, I think most books will accept a "Bank Draft" pr money order that you send by check.

Very easy to deposit there with credit card. Will have money in your account in a matter of seconds. Dont need to provide bunch of unnecessary forms either.
