If South Florida wins at Rutgers Thursday, will they be #2 then?

Ohio State will probably be #1 by default even though their toughest opponent was arguably 1-AA Youngstown State. They have played no one & don't deserve to be ranked ahead of USF who has at least played somebody.

OSU has two weeks to enjoy it because they will not be leaving Happy Valley very happy. 2005 all over again. :aktion033:aktion033:aktion033

You play the teams that are on your schedule. If the Gators and LSU are so great then why isn't at least one of them still unbeaten. LSU WAS WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE! So, If you want to crown their asses go ahead

Rail,

That's quite a jump, from #13 to #1. That might be a record. :tongue2:

I see you have nothing to add to the conversation. This is not a surprise considering you are from Michigan.

The fact is of all the teams Ohio State has faced so far, Youngstown State actually has the highest expectations.

Sat, Sep 1 Youngstown State W 38-6 --
Sat, Sep 8 Akron W 20-2 --
Sat, Sep 15 at Washington W 33-14 --
Sat, Sep 22 Northwestern W 58-7 --
Sat, Sep 29 at Minnesota W 30-7 --
Sat, Oct 6 at (23) Purdue W 23-7 --
Sat, Oct 13 Kent State W 48-3

None of those other teams had realistic chances of winning their conference much less being a legit national title contender like Youngstown State is.

BECAUSE THEY PLAY A SCHEDULE, NOT LIKE SOME OF THESE OTHER TEAMS. LSU AND FLOR WOULD WALK THROUGH THE BIG TEN WITH NO PROBLEM.
