not true. strength of schedule can move teams ahead of other teams.

why isn't kansas and hawaii in the top five? this poll shows that it doesn't matter who you play as long as you win.

It's interesting to see where the humans and computers differ:

BC averaged #5.5 in the computers, #2 with the humans

USC averaged #24 in the computers, #9 with the humans

USF was #1 in at least 4 of the 6 computer polls

also not much love for Oklahoma in the computers...averaged about #14

exactly...which is why they have a guaranteed spot with Rutgers, Louisville, Pitt, and Cincy still left.

Garbage wins. It won't matter for Kansas after Missouri buries them-if they make it that far undefeated.

Garbage wins is an understatement when it comes to Hawaii-give me a freaking break. It won't matter for them either unless they pull off a miracle win vs. Boise, but anything is possible with the refs out there.

Talk about a couple of frauds who haven't played anyone.

Hawaii has zero defense and has a lackluster schedule

THAT IS EXACTLY MY POINT. OHIO ST AND BC HAVE BEATEN NO ONE, SO WHY ARE THEY AHEAD OF KANSAS AND HAWAII?

God the BCS is a fucking joke. Punish the teams who play in conferences like the SEC and Pac10 while rewarding those from crap conferences like the Big10, ACC, Big East.

OSU's marquee win is Purdue? Granted, USF has beaten WVU, but they're getting W's at places like ELON(!!) and UCF(!!)

go bulls. yay.

WV wins the Big East ticket to a BCS bowl. I will feel bad for the one loss USF team though, at least for a minute.

Maybe if some of these supposed upper echelon Pac 10 teams didn't lose to bottom dwellers they would be penalized as much. Those teams that you are talking shit about beat the Stanford and Oregon State type teams on there schedule so far.
