solid sources reveal that a well-known harness horse owner in the Chicago area collected over 52k last week on a suspect race where the favorites "created" a suicidal pace and then 3 longshots came in headed by a #3 horse @ 18-1.....after being paid off by the bookies at a local bar the next evening..he was beaten and robbed when he arrived home.....poetic justice??? true story! Seems the drivers were definitely in on the deal....Chicago racing is among the most corrupt form of gambling in the US...A group of 6-8 drivers control the outcomes of the daily million $ handle "deciding" what numbers are to be paid off in tri and super races..The win pools are never tampered with according to sources in the industry....The FBI and Justice are now examining signatures and addresses of over 88,000 IRS payouts. This same format was used at Northfield Park 6 years ago and 3 Top Drivers were barred fpr racefixing...and are currently under investigation by the IRS....Over a 2 year period the take was over 3.8 million..for the betting syndicate...
