Rumors running rampant at Rivals & the Husker boards, I can only pray that they are true.

I am amazed at the power of Okie State. 1st they get Texas Tech's defensive coordinator fired and now it looks like they get the whole fridley wadidly at Nebraska canned.

We can only hope-and the housecleaning has to start with the AD (because he's such an ass, no one wants to work under him). Get rid of them ALL!

Rumors are just rumors, but several people seem to have heard the same thing.

Not sure who it is, but it really sounds like heads are going to roll in the next couple of days. We can only hope.

Yeah, it would be a pretty expensive buyout-but I don't think that matters at this point. If any of this is true, the boosters are lined up to buy him out.

what has the ad done that everyone is so pissed at him? he did some remarkable things in the short time he was at pitt.

Callahan

Id like to see Callahan stay, so we can consistently beat the Huskers like they did us in the 90s. The AD has to either be one of the dumbest guys around or he struck a deal w/Callahan getting a portion of his buyout after both of them get canned next month.

They're both good friends with the Chancellor of the university. That's how the incompetent get to keep their jobs while competent people get passed over. Just kiss the ass of the person above you.

I dont mind callahan so much because we are getting better recruits. However Cosgrove is a joke. He has definitely got to go. I think pederson should go also. Guy is a joke. Bring back TO as the AD and go from there! As for colorado beating us regularly, when has that happened recently?

These schools like Nebraska, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, ND, Oklahoma, and USC think it's their God given right to win their conference, compete for the national championship, and finish in the top 5 every year. Just being competitive isn't good enough - ask Lou Holtz, Ray Perkins, Terry Bowden, Bill Curry, etc. It's like all their fans and boosters are named Steinbrenner. My God - they lost big at home to Oklahoma State? We must be nearing the final days.
