Basically, if you enter a lot of contests and take it seriously, youre going to win your share.

I dont play contests much since I became a mod but I think I won 4 or 5 prior.

My biggest dissapointment was getting a free ride into the carib NFL contest and the pool was 300k or something and I just absolutely choked.

Got as high as about 20th last year at the Carib contest going into the last 2 weeks of this season and I fell apart myself. I love that contest and enter every year.

It's awesome. Pretty much the online equivalent of the famous Hilton contest.

Hey, if a cab driver can win the Hilton. So can we.

Speaking of the big guy, I wish him well, I really do. He brought a lot of personality to this place, quite frankly something that seems to be missing lately. That said I can't help but feel he's already on EOG payroll. Anyone else thinking the same? I read over there last night and he read like he was. Either way I can't blame him, he needs to take care of himself first and foremost.

Shrink reminds me of the person who said "Any publicity is good publicity". I'm sure he is paying him. Remember he tried to pay Ace-Ace, then slammed him when Ace backed out and stayed here. Thats fine, its his site, but the traffic hasn't necessarily increased. Just look at a game thread there vs here. Minimum double the posts here.

....just to clarify, how did this work again? Parlay winners had a chance for free blackjack hands? They worked like freeplay right? Win and keep the winnings, lose and no sweat? Push=play again ... double down/split = your own money?
