Some of it is due to injuries but all of these guys have played alot so far this year. This is awful. Kind of surprising how bad it is.

This is a bad group (IMO):
Harrington
Huard
Griese/Grossman
T. Jackson
Testaverde
Campbell (decent poetential)
Culpepper/McCown
Anderson (had a good year but who knows)
Lemon
Clemons
Ferotte
Boller
K. Collins
Rattay

Dont forget the young sutds who all are at the bootm of the QB ratings so far this year:
Leinart
V.Young
Cutler
A. Smith

Guys like Jeff Garcia and Jon Kitna are possibile Pro Bowlers with this group out there.

On a side note you are getting to watch Farve break all the records, and it will be only a matter of time until manning and brady break Farve's records.

What you got against Kitna?

Guy is putting up stud numbers so far

With Brady,Peyton and Brett Favre this could also be regarded as the Quarterback golden years

Hate? Me?

You kidding? I am the biggest Lions fan there is and that isnt easy to do. Just saying when a 35 year old career journeyman QB is the best the conference has to offer that speaks volumes but I will be rooting hard for him every week. Been 35 years since the Lions had a pro bowl QB.

Pretty Bad , but every year ,you can draw a line down the middle to separate the good from the back of signal callers ....

For example , 10 years ago , here are some starters from the league

Tony Banks
Kordell Stewart
Erick Kramer
Todd Collins
Jeff Blake
Danny Kannell
Bobby Hoying
Ty Detmer
Stan Humpries
Craig Wheelian
Heath SHuler
Paul Justin
Dave Brown
Glenn Foley

all those above Bums started at least 4 games in 1997

Lots of bad QBs, along with arguably the two best ever. I could be wrong about this, but does it seem to anyone like D Lines are dominating O Lines more than usual this year?

Adrian Peterson has the talent to be the best running back this league has ever seen. Such a rare combination of size, speed, power, agility, vision. He has it all. He should have been the first guy picked

some QBs have good seasons though or a few good games out of the season...
Kurt Warner... he was bagging groceries before
Romo... he went to Eastern Illinois, threw 5 interceptions in one game..
and no fucking way that Peterson has the talent to be the best running back ever.. no fucking way!!
Don't be fooled by the Bears and that monsters of midway bullshit.. everytime I see a Viking highlight I get sick.. he's like 220lbs of why no fuck has figured out stick to fundamentals on defense.. he wasn't a human highlight reel in Oklahoma! He comes off the bench and puts up a shit load of yards yea.. but whyd he get yanked in GB??

this is a heavy dose of hyperbole.

but there is elements of truth to what you type. there is no doubt that peterson is the prototype nfl running back. he would be a fantastic fit for a team like chicago/cleveland/green bay/buffalo/ pittsburgh that relies on grinding out tough yards when the weather turns bad in november and december. alas, he ends up in minnesota where hes playing in a dome. i dont think anybody questioned his talent. but in this day and age, teams analyze and overanalyze and nitpick at every little thing. and it seemed like everyone was worried about some of his injuries at oklahoma. but they were freak injuries. peterson is definitely the best back to come into the league in a good number of years. the kid just looked like an nfl back all the way through college. incidentally, darren mcfadden looks to be the same way. there is no 'well, he MIGHT be an o.k. running back at the next level' with guys like peterson and mcfadden. they clearly are even more suited for the nfl game than the college game.
