ALWAYS WRITE DOWN HANDICAPPING NOTES AND KEEP THEM ORGANIZED AS TO WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESNT!!!

I have had great success over the last 2 football season capping games. I always planned on typing up exactly what it was I did after the season ended so I remembered for the following year but I never did. I just jotted things down on a piece of scratch paper.

Well, low and behold this year I couldnt find that piece of paper! I got married, had a kid, and my wife was constantly moving shit now so I had no idea where it was. So, I tried to remember what it was I did. I somehow got by the first few weeks of the football season winning....thinking I was doing what I normally did. Well, over the last 3 weeks, I have gone 6-42 ATS in NFL/CFB (2-22 this past week)! After losing again tonight I went into the basement and tore shit up and found my old football notes. (packed away with March Madness shit....god love my wife!)

As luck would have it, I was ommiting a big piece of information from my capping arsenal that wouldve eliminated many current plays and added other ones. Had I included this into my capping strategy (this past weekend alone for example) I wouldve gone 20-5 instead of 2-22. Keep in mind that while I had a couple losing weeks here or there using this strategy, never had a run like this years nonsense.

I am so pissed at myself for not organizing all of this stuff back in August pre-football season. I guess I got a little careless and have paid for it dearly. Now my entire bankroll is gone and I am at a crossroads as to what to do.........pack it in until next year or start capping games the right way now. I cannot afford another losing week though this week. I am basically going to have to borrow some money now to use as a cushion for my bankroll. Unless of course, I get my money back from Bet On Sports. LOL. I know now though that I will want to up my bet size to try to recoup my losses. So, I ask the forum brotherend.....What Would You do?

don't borrow money. It's been a very chaotic ncaafb season for most gamblers, hang up the cleats for next year.

In all seriousness...I wouldnt "chase" ur losses with bigger bets....dont RISK as much and CERTAINLY u are having WAY TOO MUCH ACTION making 25+ BETS on a SATURDAY, OR EVEN in a weekend or week (if u ask me)...that is WAY TOO MANY GAMES....id personally take it slow and do a 1K bankroll this time and do 150 or so a game and do 2-5 games a week.

If so you wouldnt forget it.
Shoulda slapped the woman for moving stuff around.

Pretty much what I expected from this forum.

It is stats based and I #1 was not selecting the picks the right way, and #2 was omitting a source of reference.

wolf,if i had a gambling problem,a gambling board is the last place on earth,id look for help...its like stoppin off at the neighborhood crackhouse,to sober up...misery,really does love company....if youre goin to continue gambling,and you probably are,why dont you try keepin a journal...write down all your bets,and exactly why you think its a good bet..then,you can look back and see what worked,and what didnt..be as specific as you can...thats the only way youre goin to learn anything.. keepin a journal,on a public forum,is one of the most rewarding things ive ever done....(health and fitness forum) it makes me more accountable.after ive had a good workout,first thing i do is go to my walkin thread,and post it....also,if i havent done what im supposed to do,i write that down,it helps me to identify bad habits....just remember this.we're all in this together,and im pullin for ye...'keep the continue'
