Seeing the other situation had me thinking about some parlays that I made last year at a top tier book.
I was not sure that these were allowed, but I bet them and would hit them at least 1 in every 4 or 5 bets. At one time I hit 3 in a row.
Well I would do a 4 team parlay taking the Cowboys for instance for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters at whatever line there was. Each parlay would pay between 11.5-14 to 1 depending on the line.
Now these are somewhat hard to hit of course since a team would have to play well in all 4 quarters. Ironically, that is something that the Cowboys have not done well this year.
I did receive payouts from this book on numerous occassions and they never said anything. But then again, those parlays were only 15% of my bets.
Would you consider these bets correlated?
Also, I WOULD Not consider taking the MNF game or the Sunday Night Football game a correlated parlay by taking the dog and under or fav/over since it is the only game of the night.
