Many of you follow the Tigers or baseball are probably very familiar with Granderson of the field. He has really impressed me. Very personable, doesn't come off as arrogrant at all. Really seems like if he has the type of season he had this year, that he will be an All-Star lock not only because of his on field abilities, but seems to really know how to embrace the fans and seems like a really genuine person. I think those that are not famililar with him will really take to him.

He also has some personality. TBS couldn't find a baseball version of Chuck, they should have had Chuck on their.

Frank Thomas was asleep at the wheel.

Cal was too busy wanting to see Vlad Play RF

first night he was atrocious, almost didn't say anything at all, but I saw him the other night and thought he was great. Imagine it took him some time to get used to being on camera

started a similar thread the other day. hes already better than 75% of the guys who do this full time at espn. and thats not hyperbole. hes perceptive and articulate while also being credible. cant say that for a lot of guys, esp current/former athletes.

4-4-08:

Granderson hit his 15th career leadoff homer, putting him third on Detroit’s all-time list behind Lou Whitaker (23) and Dick McAuliffe (19) in just his third full major league season.

Team option on him next year for $15,000,000. I think that is a given to be taken by the NYY.

Then the next year , you have to give him like 5yrs/ 100 M or better. I want to see how the NYY cut that 2014 payroll to 189 Million with Tex, Cano, Jeter, A-Rod, Grandy, CC, etc. on the team.
