Where does that figure even come from. It is often quoted but I see no evidence to support it. How many people are profitable bettors? Much less than 2%. How many on this site are profitable bettors? It depends how you define their presence here. Regulars? Just anyone who posts? Lurkers? There will be a natural bias towards profitable bettors on any large gambling forum. There would be an even greater bias in the Offshore section, at least when you compare it to the sports-specific sections.
