That Ramirez ball obviously cleared the top of the fence hitting an edge just over the wall. Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are completely dumbfounded and should be fired on the spot.

you know what...i love the guy...he plays the game like he is still 8 years old and i like that...win or lose...when he came to boston if someone said he's gonna deliver 1 WS ida taken it ina second and he has delivered on that and has always put up the #s...i hope he ends his career in a red sox uniform

agreed 100%, that was not only an atrocious call, but the announcers think the yellow line is in play honestly. just wow.....joe buck and tim mccarver

Although the man is a hitting machine it's a joke he only got to first on that play.

what's comical about the play is that Ortiz scores from first with a bad knee that probably need surgery at the end of the season, while Manny advances only 90 ft....

it really doesnt bother me...ted williams was considered the greatest hitter ever and never won a world series...manny brought us a world series and was named MVP...im not saying thats the way to play the game but i honestly believe he is a 30+year old trapped in a 10year old's body
