I just had a good talk with SportsBetting.com and a couple of things need to be clarified.

1. While SportsBetting.com does share resources with Jazette, they are independently operated and were not involved with the confiscated funds decision.

2. If for some reason (but it does not appear to be) any Sportsbetting.com customers have had any money confiscated from their accounts, they need to contact Sportsbetting directly ASAP and your accounts will be fully credited.

I think this is a good example of letting the lines of communications work before making any rash decisions.

Thanks to Sportsbetting.com! :toast:

Thanks
Rick

Sportsbetting.com

I have been a moderator here since late 2003 and don't recall a single dispute at Sportsbetting.com. They just seem to go about their business, no contests or flashy promos but it seems to work for them..

This is my 2nd go around with sportsbetting and I will say that their early CFB GOY options are fantastic, along with other things. I like the book quite a bit and so far have yet to have a problem with them.

I've never had a problem with them either. Always have paid in full.

Nice to see them do the right thing.

I suspect we'll see other sportsbook books that wish to stay in business making this decision.

why wasn't you told that the first day?

It was just announced?

I read they weren't confiscating funds yesterday on another site, good news.

I personally still don't like the site, but I'm glad they arn't thieves.

To clarify, they are paying the winning parlays that were made?

Is this just for RX members?

I'm a little confused here myself(which is normal).

What book is/was taking responsibility?

The books involved with the confiscated funds are Jazette books, with Sportsbook.com being the main brand for Jazette. Almost all of the books under the Jazette umbrella are operated basically as one.

However, Sportsbetting is independently owned and operated, and just shares resources with Jazette.

I think it is clearer to say that Sportsbook.com is the parent book of the all of the books involved. The company is called Jazette, but Sportsbook.com is their 'flagship' property.

So Sportsbook.com is the 'umbrella' that the books involved are under.

What happened to the post from Wil requesting an apology from EOG? Please tell me we are not editing/deleting posts made by the head moderator.

Respectfully submitted,

So Sportsbetting.com was clarified, but you still have sportsbook.com as a sponsor...

Is sportsbetting.com giving away TV's still claims it is on their banner flying here.

Wasnt this a issue here with a poster 3 weeks ago who said they were not?

Choptalk called their CS department and was told that the promotion didn't exist. I called later and found that the CS clerk was misinformed and that the TV promotion did in fact, exist. It's a prize available in the Gridiron Pick Em contest that they run every year.

To be honest, I'm completely confused by all of this at the present time.

1. It took this long to determine Sportsbook was not involved with this?

2. What book is the main culprit?
