I just asked this question in the Rubber Room but I think that I will get a better chance of a good answer around here.<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->
I was wondering what you have to wager to get comped in a Las Vegas sportsbook? I play Craps, Blackjack, and Pai Gow and I usually sit at a table for 4-5 hours a session wagering $25-50 a hand in BJ, $10-15 at craps, and $50 in Pai Gow. I know the formula that you must take (Average bet/Number of Decisions) X (Hours Played) X (Casino Edge)The comps are slowly adding up but when I play at the sportsbook and make a couple of nickel wagers I dont seem to get any points or comp credits added to my account. Do I need to be wagering 20 dimes to get anything?

foot, what casino are you making your wagers at? not all casinos care about sports wagers. you're giving your card before you place your wager right? station casinos will give you $1 comp per $500 wagered on a straight bet or something like that. places like harrah's properties give you comps in other ways based on your sports wagering. friends of mine have gotten free massage at the spa, rooms, etc. just ask the sports writer about the comps you get. they don't really care much about sportsbetters as opposed to table game betters. $25 - $50 a hand on BJ at bellagio is meaningless. but if u did that at binion's they'd love you. just depends where you play.
