why is cuse hoops scared to play quality non-conference opponents??

i know this is a ncaa hoops thread but there is not traffic down there . and i was just thinking i cant wait for ncaa hoops to start in a few weeks every year cuse plays thay same cupcakes in there non-conference schedule and of course all at home. only difference this year is they are going to travel to virginia where i expect the cavs to lay a spank down on the cuse. the cuse does travel to MSG for some NIT games but that is still not even leaving NY. at least play a few good non-conference games to gear up for the big east run. after 12/30 the cuse will only play conference games. did not even throw in a quality non-conference opponent in there during conference play

Part of it has to do with filling out the balance sheet with 20K plus at home.

most games get 30 to 33k. i was looking at the schd cause i wanted to look into buying tickets. quality seats against the good big east teams are hard to get unless you want to pay premium prices. but i dont want to watch cuse beat colgate year in and out. although colgate has gave them some scares

First off--this is actually a harder schedule than most years-atleast some names of schools you have heard of
Also--buys seats outside the dome-Very easy to get
