many will probably think the thread is about boston coming back from down 3-0 to new york in the alcs a few years ago.

nope.

im talking about san francisco game 6 of the 2002 world series against anaheim.

giants had the game so far in control is wasnt even funny.

barry bonds hit the most emphatic world series home run i think i can remember. just a damn rocket into right field.

if you guys hurry, you will tune in just in time for the good stuff.

its currently 5-0 giants with 1 out and nobody on in the bottom of the 7th.

Did they ever give an estimate on how far the ball hit by Bonds went? I remember they showed Tim Salmon in the Angels dugout and you could read his lips... "That's the farthest I've ever seen" or something like that...

lol. i know. it seriously was one of those kinds of homers that you see in a home run derby. amazing that he was able to get that kind of a swing on it against live in-game pitching.
