They lied from the start, looked like they were going to tell al but now have concocted a tale of lies and will coverup the real guilty parties.......Who may just be Absolute themselves afterall.

Their lie is that 1 of their owners was going out of town to Panama for awhile.....he left his best friend (and empolyee of the v.i.p. chain of sportsbooks) in charge of Absolute while he was gone. ( now this vacationing guy is the same guy Absolute at 1st said wasnt employed their having left months ago).
On his way out the door , having left his buddy all the info he would need to run the place (according to Absolute this would include all customers personal info, inside info on their buisness, etc) he remebered 1 more thing.....there is a "super account" that was made during the development of the software, hasnt been used since and never would their be a need for it to be used again but none the less this guy thought ( according to Absolute) that this was critcal info for the buddy to know....

The buddy then turned around and used the info to scam hundreds of thousands of dollars while his buddy was out of town...
Also since this guy has so much info now they dont want to reveal his name because they are concerned he will use that info against Absolute or its customers.........

bullshit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the scammer was Absolutes own 1st in command.he's fled to the phillipines with the money , whats left of it after he dumped untold thousands to friends and family.........
This aint over, there is more to come but 1 fact is certain ....Absolute lied from the get go and continue to lie today.....AP, UB and the good folks at V.I.P. sports (nine.com)_ ARE THEIVES WHO WERE CAUGHT WITH THEIR HAND IN THE TILL.......Play at any of these rogue joints at your own risk...you are dealing with cheats, scammers and liars when you do...........

VIP shut down the Nine.com office (Costa Rica) some time ago and moved the brand to be managed by their home office in Curacao. I don't believe they took any employees or Nine.com executives with them.

IIRC A.J. Green went to Absolute Poker when Nine.com was sold to VIP. Nor was he high-up @ Nine.com.

FYI, Nine.com and VIP Sports are on the Micrograming Poker network. It looks to me they are clean of this scandal.

Now, Absolute Poker has admitted to Pocket Fives that AP#2 in charge was basically "investigating himself" and releasing public statements -- including the statements that Scott Tom (AP#1) and A.J. Green (unconfirmed to be AP#2) are no longer involved in Absolute Poker.

You are saying AJ's going to play the fall guy for Scott Tom. Definitely could be true, but clearly speculative. More details should be apparent if/when it's disclosed exactly how the real-time hole cards access was obtained.

BTW, I read that apparently Scott Tom and AJ Green became good friends when the Nine.com office and Absolute Poker offices were next door to each other, and took AJ on when Nine.com was acquired.

I think someone @ 2+2 dug up the fact AJ worked for Nine.com and got the chronology wrong.
