Rich Brooks and now Les Miles. Both won their respective game so you wont hear a word from the genius media. It is really making me sick. Do they not understand football? By the way im talking about taking a 5 pt lead with under a minute and NOT going for 2. It is one thing to make an awful play call but to have an absolute no brainer that a 2 year old could call is just unacceptable. I mean really why are they not questioned for this?

And the announcers didn't say a word about it. You can count on one hand the number of football coaches (and announcers) who understand when you should go for 2 (almost never, except in the types of situations described above) and when you shouldn't (almost always). These guys were obviously asleep in HS math class. (Phil Simms is a notable exception in the announcer category.)

The most idiotic comment on the subject came from Dan Dierdorf when he was on Monday Night Football. One team was ahead 15-0 in the first half, and he said about three times "they're only two touchdowns and two two-point conversions from being behind in this game".
