sucker bet
Sucker bets are those that have no Mathematical value ! This one has a decent chance of happening ! Have you taken the time to look at their schedule ? Other than the game at Indy ... Who will have a great chance of beating them ? Give me +500 today and I'm on it !

Will NE play their starters in weeks 16 and 17 with a perfect record?

Mathematically it's very plausible they'll go 16-0 at this point, and +500 would be a very good bet imo. But that's assuming NE will be at full strength for all of their games.

'lose-able' games for new england:

obviously a tough one at indianapolis.

at baltimore on a monday night. very difficult game against a premier defense.

home to pittsburgh. steelers, despite yesterday's no show, are traditionally one of the very best road teams in the nfl

at new york giants on a saturday night in the final week of the season.

if the buffalo game was in december, that would be a tricky game where an upset was possible. but the weather wont play any sort of role in early november game. one month later? maybe it would have been upset alert. but not on 11/18.

there are still 4 very lose-able games for new england. two of those are on the road.

odds still stacked against them pulling it off.

Sorry but I will respectifully disagree ! Baltimore no longer has a premier defense as they have become old. Steelers at new England ? Give me a break ! Steelers can't beat Denver who just got whipped at home by San Diego 41-3 ! I see the Colts and Giants as their main danger spots !

After spygate, Belechick is mad and on a mission and I see no way He is not going after 16-0 if He has a chance ! If you have been paying attention.... He is out to rub their noses in it !

pittsburgh vs. denver is absolutely and entirely irrelevant when handicapping the chances of the steelers vs. patriots.

To you but not for me ! Once a team has shown their weaknesses, it means something to me. Steelers will be at least a touchdown dog to Patriots IMHO 41-3 is a whipping !

NFL is pointless to look at what happened in previous weeks to an extent. You can throw stats out of the window in every single NFL game. It is all about motivation and finding a team that fits into the right spot.

Looking at a team who averages 274 ypg rushing and thinking they will run all over a team who gives up 200 ypg rushing doesn't matter. Ala Pitt @ Denver. Ala Dallas @ Buffalo.

Sorry if you're not following me but 41-3 is the actual score by which Denver just lost their last home game to San Diego ! Then Denver comes back and beats Pitt and you actually expect Steelers to go into patriot home field and have a good chance of winning ? I simply said they would be at least a touchdown dog !

sorry for my misnterpretation.

still, the single worst way to handicap any contest, football or basketball, is the 'team A vs. team B vs. team C' or any sort of irrational logic where you concern yourself about something as irrelevant as denver vs. san diego having some '6 degrees' relationship to pittsburgh vs. new england.

this isnt me not respecting your opinion whatsoever.

but i cant believe that you would honestly let a denver vs. san diego result have any sort of bearing on pittsburgh vs. new england.

if pittsburgh won yesterday by 10, you mean to tell me your opinion of this game would have been different? of course not. youd still think new england was going to murder them. you would have just supported it with different logic. but a loss on the road to denver was convenient for the conversation.

if you really capped this way, the browns gave new england their best game of the season and basically lost by 10 points.

pittsburgh MURDERED the browns.

so now why wouldnt pittsburgh have a shot against new england?

cant have it both ways.

Derek Anderson played vs NE, Charlie Frye played vs Pitt but thats beside the point. I do agree that Pats will handle the Steelers at home. lets say IF, and its a big if, the Pats are 14-0 and have homefield locked up, i know teams rest their starters and all but would a team really just let their chance of going undefeated slip away without any fuss? or would the team simply say the super bowl is the goal and just pass on accomplishing what would still be an amazing feat

If someone wants to play this the best way to handle this is too bet a "let it ride" bet each week on the moneyline. I can promise you that you will make the most money going this route if they go undefeated.

You are almost 100 % correct ! However it is the NFL and let's just see how easy it is to bet on New England when they are consistently double digit favorites. This week they are a 16 point favorite over a team that I just saw a post saying Redskins just might be the best team in the NFC !
Oly has the game ML posted right now at - 1500 ! Do you want to take a shot at it ? I'll pass and simply take a stab at a single wager at whatever 16-0 will give me. If I get + 450 to + 500... I'll give it a shot ! It's gambling as they say !:toast::money8::lolBIG:
