Me and a few friends are coming over next weekend for the bucs game and some partying. Question, what are the best places to go. We are staying by Ybor, but I haven't been there in awhile so not sure where to go anymore. And of course I need to know the best adult entertainment clubs as well. Thanks.
YBOR is only dangerous if you wander outside the club area/main streets.
I used to work in Ybor at Club Skye when I was in college.
Ybor is definitly the place to go if you're from the ages of 18-30. There are numerous places to go, maybe 20 clubs/bars and they're all within a 4-5 street radius. Thursday/Friday/Saturday it's packed. Just check out who's going in what if this is your thing because there are your black/hiphop clubs, raggeton/latina clubs, trance club, everything club, and then more low key bars/clubs. Don't want to waste a cover.
If you're looking for something more lowkey, than check out Channelside. There are a few bars and restaurants, generally the 30+ crowd.
Be careful of DUI's in TAMPA. I've lived in 5 different places in the US, 3 in Florida alone, and they have more pigs than a fucking farm. You'll be thrown in the cell down @ Orient Rd. for next to nothing.
Don't go to YBOR STRIP. Ugly ass chicks, but they'll give you a little extra if you know what I mean. Might want to strap on a rubber even for a lapdance though, they're dirty.
Get on Dale Mabry, it's the road near Raymond James. There are 4-5 strip clubs all within radius of eachother. Mons Venus is heavily regarded as the best quality.
From there, head to TAMPA GREYHOUND for a little NO LIMIT holdem at the best pokerroom in town............then from there head to the HARD ROCK for more poker and to do so clubbing there.
These three things........SELMONS in New Tampa, Tampa Greyhound, and the Hard Rock are your must three stops when visiting Tampa. If you bring the kids, spend a day at BUSCH GARDENS, terriffic zoo/amusement park that offers up free beer.
Spent all day Friday at Busch Gardens with my 10 year old twins (There was no school Friday.) They ride the Gwazi roller coaster endlessly and I walk back and forth from the Gwazi entrance to the Hospitality House. Next time, I'm going to bring my laptop. On top of that, all I get extra bonus points from my wife when I get home (if you know what I mean) because I've had the boys out of the house all day.

thanks guys. I was allredy planning on going to mons venus as I have been there before. I don't remember a whole lot about the last time I went to Ybor as it was my buddies bacholor party and I was completly hammered. The poor guy actually went through with the wedding to. Needless to say he isn't one of the guys making the trip this weekend.
I've got a friend that lives on Davis Island and works for a valet company at they Hyatt.. ybor was cool, South Beach has hotter chicks, but I was amazed at how laid back Davis island was...
My grandparents lived in Largo, I'll be making a trip out there again soon I had a blast.. I was there when Ecuador was playing in a soccer match.. couldn't get tickets in time before the match the line was too long =0) headed to that mall by the airport and ran into some black boxer there.. don't really follow boxing

I live in Largo/Pinellas Park...........
Make sure you check out the beaches if you come to Tampa.........Clearwater and St. Pete Beach.
Downtown ST. PETE is really cool too and has some great watering holes..........go on Friday nights.
But as mentioned, FRED and THE SENATOR at the Selmons in New Tampa will be your best entertainment value by far.
