Since you are the #1 Heat hater, what do you think about the trade? Love the fact that Antoine is gone. There is a god. :aktion033:party::party::party::party::party:

Acually I Hate The Trade Because I Think It Will Help Them. At This Point It Sure Can't Make It Any Worse.
Davis Sure Fills A Void Offensivly Until Wade Gets Back. The Problem Is After Wade Comes Back, How Will Davis Handle Going To The Bench. He Has Been Known To Cause Problems On A Team.

You guys could use some good news.

But you have a recent title, which is much more than a C's fan can say.

Don't think Davis will go to the bench. I am thinking he will move to the 3. Would be surprised if he didn't.

IS HE BIG ENOUGH? WELL, I GUESS G ST WAS ABLE TO DO IT.

I mean he is 6'6, 6'7. That should do. Plus, who else do we have? Think he is a great fit here. The first time in a very long time that we actually have a legit third scorer. Davis fills a void that we had of outside shooting, from getting rid of Posey and Kapono. Guy can shoot from the outside, shot close to 40% from 3 last season. Also, he is a very good FT shooter, close to 85%.

I really love the trade. Just getting rid of Walker is a huge plus. Simeon has been a nothing since he arrived. Great college player, nothing so far in the pros. Doleac is a sold backup center, but he is our third string here and was needed to fill in for a trade. The only negative of the whole trade is that Blount is signed for three more years at a hefty price tag. The flip side is that Toine's contract is now off the books and Ricky Davis is only signed thru this season.

Bottom line is I absolutely love the trade. :103631605

I agree looks like a solid trade for the Heat... I wouldnt be so down on Blount either, hes actually a decent player but with Haslem,Mourning,Shaq, im not sure how he really fits in, especially with that contract

Didn't Realize Davis Was 6'6. Plenty Big For A 3.

Will Davis And Pat The Rat Hit It Off This Time? Remember When Davis Was Here In 2001, Riley Hated Him And Couldn't Wait To Run Him Out Of Town.

Love this trade from the Minnesota perspective. The thread starter forgot to mention Miami is sending a 1st round pick. Walker will be bought out, Doleac is in his last year, and Simien doesn't make much and could maybe still do something. We deal blount who is making 7.5 for the next 3 years, and ricky davis who is a free agent after this year that we weren't planning on resigning. Blount is a below average player, Davis is a good scorer but a cancer in the locker room. I'm glad they got both out of there though because it frees up more cap room, gives us another 1st rounder, and lets us start are young guys instead of having them sit behind those guys.
