Check amount

I know this topic has brought up before....but what amount is safe to request from offshore books without raising any flags from the bank???

If I remember correctly...any amount under 5K is ok...

Under 3K??? I don't think you're correct...too low...I think it's more like 10K...

I know there was a post from Blue Edwards about him getting a mid 4-figure check from a sponsored book here....Blue...can you confirm???

i have rec'd checks over and under $5k. i have had no problems whatsoever DEPOSITING these checks.

unless the check is drawn off a foreign (non-usa) bank, you should not have any problem depositing. the only time a bank will give it a second look (imo) is if you try to cash it.

i have deposited checks of various amounts with no problems from:

bet jamaica
5 dimes
bodog

all of these were above $2k and some were above $5k

Thanks for the confirmation Blue...my checks were from WSEX and OLY and they were all less than 5K....and they were deposited ok...

OLY check was wicked fast....put in a request on Wed before 10am...paid $35 for overnight fees....and the check was fed ex the next day to Texas at 10am !!!

WSEX took 6 business days and I paid them $30 for processing fees....
