I am not sure what it is, but it is the main subject of the CSI New York show tonight.

Not sure what it is, but it appears that one would have to be a real loser to belong to that site

But then again, most people might say the same for people posting here

Well it appears that you can make money, but I would guess that most people spend way too much.

Somehow, people can sell virtual shoes, plans for a house, cars etc. But they cost money to buy

I was reading about some of those fantasy sites where people actually sell fantasy real estate for real money and are becoming multi millionaires doing it. Unlike us degenerates here who probably arent making a dime.

they were talking about it on the news today. Its like a fantasy football site for chicks and guy that can't score in real life. Why would anyone waste their time when they could be here at the RX.

I know a guy who owns a business there. It's a bicycling web site. He sells information for $200/month to a sponsor that advertises there. His wife offers "virtual spinning classes" where people can view her giving lessons using a stationary cycle.

I've heard about it. You can buy land on there as well and people run businesses. It's basically a virtual life. So you can make yourself however you want. I don't know either why anyone would do it either.

i saw a special on that where some girl started accumulating property in 2nd life. new people who sign up to the game pay in the 2nd life dollars or whatever they are and she is worth over 1million in 2nd life dollars and those can be taken out for real money and the big question was should she be taxed by the US govt on that income...

it was really interesting but like someone else said yes people are becoming millionaires in this 2nd life game...
