Computer internet problem

I am having an internet issue with my PC.

First of all, I have a internet router in my house for 2 PC's and a couple of laptops. The internet is working fine in all but 1 PC.

Well actually the internet is working as i could play poker on the computer, but when i click on internet explorer all I get is the DNS or cannot connect to this website. Noe of my favorites will work so it isnt just my homepage of yahoo.

A friend told to download internet explorer again. Then someone mentioned something about a website called firefox or something. Well those are fine, but since i cant even get into one website, then I cannot download any new software.

Has anyone ever heard of a problem like this?

Go to tools, options & clear your temp internet files.

Reboot & then see what works.

I should say that I tried that a few times already. Then I ran spybot and adaware to rid of things

They certainly are tonight, that's for sure. We'll see what happens tomorrow night.

If they get swept through Saturday, shit will happen in downtown Denver that you can't imagine.
