Jimenez will look like a deer caught in headlights tonight in Boston. Schilling is pitching just well enough to allow no more than 2 runs. I predict that Boston will get around 5 runs. Therefore, I am taking the runline with boston on this one.

I am guessing a final score of 6-1 tonight. Thus, I may consider a Boston and under parlay as a hedge just in case it is a 1 run game. Although, I am a little worried that Boston may get the over by themselves in this one.

Jimenez has filthy stuff. I think the key to the game is if Jimenez can keep the Red Sox bats silent the first couple innings. If he does watch out, he will have his confidence

That is why I wanted the runline. I am not sure, but what are the odds on a runline of -2.5? I would think it would be around +175 or so, but I am not sure.

I will say that the over/under is a bit high to me. I would have thought that it would be NO MORE than a posted 9

i'm on jimenz +180. the guy is lights out.

this play may not win but, i cant pass up +180. to lay -200 on schilling is nuts. he is not even close to beckett and its roughly the same price.

good luck though.

I agree that the line may be high, but keep in mind that the line last night was considering that Francis was on the mound for Colorado.

Also, Colorado had not lost a game yet in the playoffs, so that was factored in the line. After last nights game, the string is now over and the pressure is on Colorado a bit more now.

Had Colorado won last night, then the line for the game today would have been lower. Even a close game would have generated a lower line as well

I mean yesterday was a TOTAL ass whooping! Boston scores 13 runs and only has 1 SOLO homerun.

Usually when a team score 5 runs in an inning or so, it is because of a 3 run homer. They scored 12 runs WITHOUT a homerun involved. They had 17 hits in all and they only batted for 8 innings!!

That was a TOTAL demolition. Find another game ALL year where a team scored at least 13 runs and only had 1 SOLO homerun. I am sure that it happened, but maybe only 5% of the games where a team score 10 or more runs do they only have 1 SOLO homerun. Also, they did this in 8 innings, NOT 9

11 of those 13 were with two outs, not that i don't like boston or think they win...just not laying the juice or taking a home team on the RL

You are right about the home team runline. I had taking the runline when taking the home team, but I will do it tonight.

Be a little tough to win batting only 8 times though

Was listening to Mr.Jive on the way home and he said last night the Rocks were like deer in headlights and got that game out of the way.

He went on to say Shcilling will win tonight.

But I think your both wrong,Bosox have not seen this kids 98 mph fastball and wicked change/slider whatever it is that dips down.

Then he is so young he doesn;t know any better about the butterflies.

He has alot of walks and not pitching in a week and x amount of days may lead to walks but if he can harness........ I see a good hitting/fielding club beating Curt tonight?
