i had to post this bc im in love with this beer my buddy tipped me off on...

dogfish head 90 minute imperial IPA its 9% alcohol

shit is fu-king great tasting...if you like good beer i HIGHLY recommended...where i buy it its $10 for a 4pack they dont sell it in 6packs....shit is the bomb...check it out or give feedback...

There is a brewpub downtown that has a bunch of 9% "barleywines" on tap. Stuff sets my face on fire, but if you mix & match about 3 different kinds, it's pretty tough to not want to blow chunks.

Very heavy-almost syrupy. Not exactly a good fit for someone who is a Bud Light drinker.

HuskerFan, if you like the 90 minute you gotta find the 120 minute, that shit is stout. I got it at some snazy beer bar in DC....shit cost me $13 for a bottle but it was strong as hell. Definatly a sipping beer, its strong and kinda sweet at the same time but it is legit. If you have a Whole Foods they usually sell it by the bottle there.

I can't remember what Dog Fish I had but I recall they were all good - I'll definately try this one.

This was my first favorite microbrew IPA too. Really nice mix of piney and citrus hops here. Plenty of other good ones out there too. I'm partial now too the California IPA's - Stone, Alesmith, etc.
