Don't forget to ask to see if you're eligible for a bonus when signing up.

I was just reading about sports book reviews and decided to see how The Greek was reviewed. It seems that they have a new account bonus of 21%. So I checked my account since I recently signed up with them. No bonus.

So I call The Greek and the lady asks for my account number to check to see whether I was eligible for a bonus. She comes back a couple minutes later and apologizes that it wasn't given and she says she added it.

It seems that you have to ask for your bonus, don't assume even an A+ book will give it to you unless you ask for it.

Very common-a lot of people don't want them due the rollover\time restrictions. Some want the bonus, some want to get in & out.

I've only been with the Greek a couple weeks and I've already met my 4x rollover. What type of bettor wants to just bet a couple bets and get out? Serious question.

My Bro for instance isnt a real bettor, he is just a real casual one, if he goes to a Giants game and pays 300 bucks for tickets he puts 300 on the game, and if they cover the spread, he immediately cashes out and got a "free" game, if not than what the hell, made the game more fun

Just an example of a player who wont meet the roll over hence no bonus wanted

I see what you mean. But I would think that 95% of people are not like your brother. In other words he is the exception and not the rule.

It could take me months sometimes to meet a rollover requirement and therefore I might decline a 20% bonus or whatever.

Books will not let you withdraw money under any circumstances if you haven't met your rollover, so sometimes people are better off not risking it if they think down the line they might want to pull the money out at any point before they meet rollover.

Regardless if a person is in the minority and will not meet their rollover, a book (The Greek in this case) won't tell you that you are eligible once you have met your rollover.

The lesson here is to find out what you are eligible for and what the conditions are since most books I've been dealing with won't offer that information until you ask.

Some players use the bonus for a one time bet and only have to complete the roll over if you win

I would like to reiterate, MOST players play enough to meet the 4X rollover requirements. Yes, there is a minority that plays a few times and doesn't meet the rollover.

My main point is that for the majority of players they don't give you your bonus when you meet the requirements. It's important for bettors to know the rules before joining with a book.

Most bonus programs are very confusing. I know that I have forgotten to ask for a bonus in the time limit that they had set up and made threats to go somewhere else and they countered back with a even bigger bonus just to keep my business.
