This week 5Dimes had a prop on whether or not a game would land on 9, Yes was +360 and No was -450. This was the first time this prop was offered all year to my knowledge and I was intrigued. I looked at my Excel sheets and found that from 2001 to 2006, the game landed on 9 only 1.2435% of the time. With only 13 games this week, statistically speaking this was a solid play. An average of 3 games a year land on 9 and we already had one earlier this year so I figured that even with the high juice, No was worth a small play. Of course, not even out of the 1 PM games and a game lands on 9.
