Football betting exists because of the "line" (pointspread) in more than 90% of the cases--ie folks that bet. Horse Racing is a WPS or exotic type bet. They don't offer a pointspread (Beaten lengths -1, 2 3, etc ). They want horse racing to LOOK GOOD!! LOL! These jockeys are pros and that MIGHT give it some sporting element to it....
