I would think that a little Windex on a towel would work just fine.

and do not use a towel. use microfiber cloth instead. if you didn't get one with your big screen, you should be able to find one at best buy, c. city, even walmart...

Weird, I have a pair of flat panels & have never had a problem. Same goes for laptop screens.

How about lens cleaner for eyeglasses and a cotton towel ? I use that for a laptop.

Costco sells lens cleaner ( two small bottles, and some other stuff in a kit for about $5). They refill the bottles free when you go back.

Guys after all the controversy I just called Dell (who made my tv) and they said to use clean safe monitor cleaner, absolutely no WINDEX they said as it turns the screen orangish/yellow after numerous cleans, and they said no water, or pretty much anything else. Monitor cleaner, actual LCD cleaner, or just a cotton cloth.

Water, vinegar and newspaper instead of a dust rag or towel. No streaks, no dusty bits. You should also clean windows and mirrors the same way.

I've had my LCD for a year now and have used the water/vinegar trick the whole time, with no problems. I wipe mine down about once a week.

windex has ammonia in it and you do not want to clean any type of plasma or lcd screen with ammonia. way to harsh of a chemical.
