this team is awful. The defense is not nearly as good and that spells big trouble because we all know how inept that offense is. It might get ugly in Bear Country very soon. ANd maybe worse next year.

The O-line sure got old fast and the defense cannot stop long drives. Something to watch for - they are on a bye this week. If they lose next week, I can see them pack it in for the season. They are already 0-4 in the division they dominated.

They're still scrapin him off my stucco.

They dominated the division for a whopping two seasons.

The problem is they thought they had the right QB (even though everyone except for the ManeJ knew they didn't.) And even after Grossman's meltdown in the SB, they probably thought their defense would get them through the season without a QB like during most of 2005. Huge mistake on their part.

most who wwatched each Bear game last year could see for many games the won with mirrors! With no Hester they were an average team.

this year even with HEster they are in the bottom 4 in the NFC and falling fast.

Last year the Bears had an easy schedule. The loss of Tank Johnson has hurt them because their D-line was very good last year. The defense kept them in games last year and covered for the offense with take aways. The harder schedule this year, lack of take aways, their anemic offense has come into play this season.

In addition, Briggs is the Man on defense...the overrated Urlacker is being exposed big time this season...and Briggs is shipping out of town after the season. With the young talent on Green Bay and Detroit and with Minnesota even having more potential than the Bears, Chicago will be a doormat of this division for several years to come

Last year the whole playoff scenario was fixed. Just like 2006 was Bill Cowher's year to win a Super Bowl, 2007 was Tony Dungee's year. The Cowboys would have crushed the Bears, but Romo "fumbles" a perfect snap. How convenient. The Saints were so much better than the Bears it was ridiculous, and moved the ball up and down the field against them at will. New Orleans "just happened" to turn the ball over or get a penalty called against them every time they got deep into Chicago territory.

The public is pretty dumb, but they're not THAT dumb, and the PTB (powers that be) couldn't afford to have another Super Bowl debacle like the one the year before, where EVERY call, from the bad spot on the first series where Mack Strong obviously got the first down and they marked the ball a yard short, to the last call where they flagged Hasselback for a phantom block below the knees, made it obvious the game was fixed.

So, to make sure that Dungee got his Super Bowl, and they didn't have to fix the BIG game, they made sure that the one team that had NO chance - the team with the most overrated player in the league (Uhrlacher), the team with their best defensive back injured, the team with the worst quarterback in North America - got there.

Anyone who thinks this sport is any better than professional wrestling is going through life with blinders on. Idiots post every day on this site about how 911 was some kind of Government conspiracy. If they want to see a real conspiracy, they need look no further than the NFL.

Well, maybe my scenario for last year is a bit of speculative fantasy, but there is no doubt in my mind that the 2007 Super Bowl was fixed.

Tank Johnson sucked and only played when Tommie Harris was hurt.

I still think Harris is hurt besides Urlacher. Bears D is not creating turnovers.
