After reading all the good reviews about lazerwager I decided to open an account with them. I spoke to this live chat operator name Joe who claims to be an account Manager...

I asked what was the rollover for initial deposit since its not stated on their website, he said 5x and offered to give me 30% instead of 22.5% if I open my account with him. I was like cool why not? .. I just wanted to re-confirm so I mention: If I deposit $3000 it would be $3900 x 5? He said correct.

The conversation was all good .. just when I was ready to open an account, I popped: I will be funding using moneybookers and he said No.. I was surprised because lazerwager accept moneybookers on their website isnt it? Joe did not give me any reason as to why moneybookers dont qualify for initial bonus.. and its not stated on their website as well.

He kinda urge me to fund using western union which I rejected because I have ready cash in moneybookers. But he kept urging the WU thing.. I than said I had $5000 in my moneybookers account and I would like to use it instead.. than he said: If you would send $5000, maybe we can do something about it. I was like WTF? I just be polite to say No thanks and BYE.

I think that sportsbook should stats the terms clearly on their website really.. what if I did not speak with the chat operator and send $3000 over blindly..

we will get to the bottom of this,

they are a new book, and there are always growing pains along the way, these things can happen.

the true test is how will they react when they hear about the problems

please email me your account number, sportsavant@therx.com

SS this place seems to be giving away so much to get post up money makes me nervous! At least they are not reduced juice and giving away all this stuff...Hope they have thought through this business model it would be great to have another solid out.. they cold call much, they should just come out and say that is an improtant part of their business model so people realize it will happen and will happen often...better to just state it than piss people off...they sure are nice on the phone and here at RX...

Wow that sucks.

Ask to be put on a do not call list.

I did that with a book, and they honored it.

I did not open any account with LazerWager yet. Due to past bad experience, I would clarify and confirm stuff with the book itself before opening an account. So its alright.. I'm not opening any acct with them.

The reason for posting this is to warn people who intend to open an account with lazer with the intention of funding with moneybookers with does not qualify for their bonus.. but unless you're sending $5000 than they might do something about it. :missingte

I got cold called also, did not make a wave about it, but leaving a message about the 22% thing was not needed.

Druidwarrior,

Thanks for posting this on TheRx and I am sorry about the misunderstanding. You are correct that we do offer Moneybookers on our website for Non-US customers.

When you called today we were not able to take Moneybooker due to a problem which I am told will be fixed on Thursday where we will once again be able to accept Deposits and Payouts thru Moneybooker.

To answer your other question about getting a bonus if you use Moneybooker. Everyone who makes an initial deposit with us get a bonus regardless of the deposit method. The bonus will vary depending on what promotion we have at the time. The conversation you had with Joe must have been a misunderstanding where he told you that you could not at the moment deposit thru moneybooker and thus could not get a bonus.

Our rules and regulations concerning bonus policies are clearly stated on the upper right hand corner when you click on the "rules" links as well as on the promotions page. http://lazerwager.com/termslazer.html

http://lazerwager.com/index.asp?lnk=promo

Please feel free to contact us thru LiveChat or by calling us at 1-866-375-4840 if you have any more questions and once again, we will be able to take Deposit and Do Payouts using Moneybooker on Thursday and we do apologize for any inconvenience.

For the record

All of the sponsors here at The Rx.com that offer free contests obviously do so to get new customers, LazerWager included. Anyone who signs up at a book to enter a free contest should expect some sort of marketing from the book sooner or later. In some cases it will be simple promo in an email, others send actual mail, and others have a telemarketing department that will call you if you are an account holder.

Some players like to receive offers from the books they have accounts at and many take advantage of them. Obviously some players even though they are account holders do not like to be marketed, that is your perrogative. Should you received a phonecall from a book that you volantarily signed up at and do not care for any more calls simply ask them to remove you from the telemarketing list. Once you do that and you still continue to get calls feel free to email me at wilheim@therx.com Back-up and CC person19481950@yahoo.com and I will see to it that your name and phone number is removed from the telemarketing list of the book in question.

Emails all should have some sort of unsubscribe feature that you can try if you don't want your books to email you. Direct mail most likely requires a phonecall to the book's CSD so you can ask to be removed from any direct mail lists from then on. Again if that doesn't work don't hesitate to email me and I will do all I can to make sure you don't get whatever form of marketing you do not want to receive from the book sending it to you. I am talking about Rx.com sponsors here, non-sponsors that market Rxers may not be as cooperative as our own advertisers when I make these kinds of requests.

BTW. calling existing clients by any business, in this business by that I mean players that have taken the time to create an account at a book is not cold calling but is better described as telemarketing.

If you get a call from a book you never signed up at then that could be considered cold calling because you are a stone cold stranger to that book that somehow got hold of your phone number.

Daddyjj, quite frankly I doubt that LazerWager is lying to people in order to get them to deposit. They seem very professional and eager to do the right thing by our posters here at The Rx.com.

Received my third call from them just minutes ago. I was called by the same person two times in one day previously. He had no idea wtf was going on.
EACH time I spoke/live chatted with them I got them to confirm that they take notes about their client interactions as I hate repeating myself. They don't take notes. All I wanted to do was deposit with Moneybookers as their site advertises. "Next week", they say....for 3 weeks now. Whatever.

Wil,

I understand that they were going to call, but to call IMMEDIATELY 2 minutes (no exaggeration) after depositing is unacceptable in my book.

That shows they are willing to jump all over customers and it also shows that they may be in dyer need of customers. Not something they should want to portray.

I will still consider depositing there, but if I get called relentless I will put a stop to it, and make no intention of depositing there at all.

Hope you understand. As I have limited cell phone minutes in my plan and these guys want to go on and on and talk.

Obviously someone must have picked up your registration info immediately after you submitted it. I understand that getting calls two minutes later or two weeks later can be not what some players want from their books. My advice is to simply tell the salesman what you just told me about your cel phone minutes and simply say I cannot talk and would not like to be called in the future at all.

Speaking of new books like LazerWager natrually they are eager to recruit new deposits and have hired people (like the person that called you) to do that for them. Most likely being new the caller was waiting for new leeds to call and your name was called sooner that it would have been at an older more established book. Older books that telemarket work thru their client bases in cycles, for example an account holder who is dormant for say 21 days will get called with a bonus or promo offer when that 21 day cycle is up, and get called again in another 21 days if the account still remains dormant. Different offices have different operating models but in the end they all have the same goal which is to generate busines for the book they represent.

Ive seen you post here....I can tell by the way you talk you are a straight up guy

to be honest with you...I was looking foward to making my first deposit there this week

but something I seen here made me not want to....they have something on their site about same day western union payouts....well a poster here asked "lagerwager" about a western union payout he had been waiting for....for about 4-5 days....he said there was no response from customer service about his inquiry....so I figured this would be a good test to see how "lazerwager" replys to this poster about his claim in that same thread....the poster was really nice about it...just asked him "hey im waiting can you give any info"....and the only reply I seen in that thread was "lazerwager" talking about depositing to receive a bonus....no reply....no acknowledgment of that guy even existing...to me wil...I didnt feel there was too much love for customers at that moment from "lazerwager"....only thing "lazerwager" was concerned with was someone making a deposit....now im not saying these books need to bend over backwards for people....some decent customer service is really hard to find dealing with these guys as everyone knows....they hold all the cards....we are at their mercy....but if you are going to claim something on your website...dont you think you should these books should be able to back those claims??....if I catch any wind of false advertising.....thats leads me to believe there could be other issues with that said website as well...I mean if they changed it to say "payouts within 4-5 days" then at least I would feel that the site is being honest with people...but thats not what it says

Hello... just to clarify a few things.. Yes we do call our players as soon as they sign up with us to see if they need help with the deposit process or to assist in making sure they receive the correct bonus they are entitled to depending on which promotion a person chooses to take advantage of. It is usually th ebest time since we know you are at your computer. Yes we are agressive in our marketing but never over bearing.. at least we hope not... I am unaware of any payout issues we have and if you search these forums you find many players ecstatic with our Customer service and payout times. Thank you for your interest in Lazerwager

Do your agents keep basic notes about your conversations with clients? I've made my requests known to 3 seperate agents and I feel disrespected when I realize that I've wasted my time since I have to repeat myself every time you call. LOL. I even told your agents the EXACT requirements for me to give them my business. Even the most dense salesperson should be closing me. You tell me you want my money but you sure don't act like it.

Called again twice by you guys today. Then he says he wants to put me on hold, and i say "I have to go and am unable to talk at the moment". So he says "Ok, im just going to put you on hold real quick while I find something out."

I hang up, he calls back 3 minutes later.

Im done signing up at books for good. Ridiculous.

Am i the only one here who signed up with them and didnt get called?

Seems like everyone is being harrased by them, maybe me winning a few bucks on the site has them nervous of my ultimate capping abilities
