I'm not sure they are not better without Oden. I like ROY a ton!! They look like they could compete for an 8 spot.

Yes. Addition by subtraction. This team has finally tossed out the last bad apple with the trade of Randolph. Good riddance.

The atmosphere surrounding the Blazer team has totally changed. Instead of gang bangers and thugs hanging around the locker room, there are now babies and baby's mommas. In addition there are even wives and family members.

I have read that Aldridge has a remarkable work ethic. It showed tonight vs. Spurs. The guy put up 27, but only 3 rebounds. According to the trainer, Aldridge has a workout routine equal to the great Scotty Pippen.

Good call:

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan was being cautious, saving guard Brandon Roy for when the team needed him.
With two fouls, Roy sat the entire second quarter Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Then he went on to steer the Blazers to a 109-98 victory for Portland's league-leading 12th consecutive win.

Yes they are. The best thing is that the lines haven't caught up yet. They've been covering almost every game.
