Isolating one game and putting 10 units on it or putting 2 units on 5 games?

Assuming spreads only, no moneylines

Less games the better for me....i guess it all depends on your track record.

mathematically it is the same if you hit the same % of course...

I'm somewhere in between, I'll almost never have more than 5 ATS straight bets in a day, sometimes only 1....but always for 1 unit a piece

These type threads make me laugh. The more bets the better, peorid. Now since you are putting 10 units in to play both ways than it dont matter in your particular question.

But for overall moneymaking purposes the more plays the better. I try and put close to 1,000 plays a month thru, if all are 53%(actually right around 54% for me) plays than each bet is worth around 2% of what I bet. The key is that you are making 53% plays. Anyone saying less isnt taking advantage of what is out there, also realize the more plays than the less luck comes into play. Anything can happen after 10 plays or so but usually a 54% capper hits 54% after 500 plays.

If you win less then 50% of the time 1 a week, if you win more then 50% of the time, 5 a week. Someone with a losing handicapping formula has a much better chance of getting lucky and winning above their average the less times they bet.
