I go thru stretchs where I do this. Been doing this off and on for years. Been waking up with some sore teeth latley. I have a mouthpiece and may have to dig this up and use it again.

Must be sweating out too many of these plays in my sleep lately:missingte. The worst part is I feel (and I could be wrong) that the stress level in my life is very low so not sure what the problem is. maybe the whole moderator gig is wearing on me a little:nohead:, who knows.

Anyone else do this?

Been told I do it. It's definitely not stress-related in my case.

Never been a high-stressed person but I have almost always grinded my teeth. Did it so bad when I was 14 or 15 that I had to wear a mouthpiece when I slept because I was developing some jaw ailment where it made a painful pop whenever I moved my jaw.

I still grind my teeth and got rid of the mouthpiece though. Pain in the ass cause sometimes it wakes me up.

you can treat it with a mouth guard made cosutm by your dentist.... in severe cases it can damage your teeth or your cause temporomandibular disorders

Chipped up a few theeth before I got the guard... You can get 1 from dentist for 500. My aunt is a dentist and told me to save my money and that can get 1 from CVS for 25 bucks.

Put the guard in hot water. Bite and it forms around your theeth. Throw it in some cold water and hardens...

I grind my teeth. I have a gaurd from the drugstore but have now bit through that. I'm not sure why I do it. I'm not really stressed out. My wisdom teeth are sideways under my gums. I was told that I would need surgery to get them out. I have a feeling that the pressure from the wisdom teeth may be the cause but I'm not sure.
